The presence of ethnic minority peoples (Kreung, Kavet, Brao, Lao and Lun) living around Virachey NationalPark, and their activities related with traditional food and medicines make this Parka good ecotourism destination. The Park’s massif containing a range of mountains that reach towards the Lao PDR border is another destination. The remoteness and the “wilderness feel” of the Park areits biggest aesthetic and tourist values, along with its sacred burial or ritual sites. Visitors can go bird watching, mountain climbing, trekking and boating in the river.
