The presence of ethnic minority peoples (Kreung, Kavet, Brao, Lao and Lun) living around Virachey National Park, and their activities related to traditional food and medicines make this park a good ecotourism destination. The Park’s massif containing a range of mountains that reach towards the Lao PDR border is another destination. The remoteness and the “wilderness feel” of the Park areits biggest aesthetic and tourist values, along with its sacred burial or ritual sites. Visitors can go bird watching, mountain climbing, trekking and boating in the river.
