TERMS OF REFERENCE
A. BACKGROUND
The ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB), established in 2005, is ASEAN’s response to the challenge of biodiversity loss. It is an intergovernmental organisation that facilitates cooperation and coordination among the eleven ASEAN Member States (AMS) and with regional and international organisations on the conservation and sustainable use of biological diversity, and the fair and equitable sharing of benefits arising from the use of such natural treasures.
The ACB is seeking a dependable Driver who will be accountable to the General Services Officer.
B. SCOPE OF DUTIES
Under the Finance and Administration Department, and supervised by the General Services Officer, the Driver will perform the following:
- Driving and maintenance of vehicle
1.1 Drive vehicles of the Centre
1.2 Convey ACB personnel to and from their places of destination
1.3 Submit reports on fuel and oil consumption and distance traveled
1.4 Conduct regular inspection of vehicles before and after travel for any and/or problems, damage and repairs to be done
1.5 Troubleshoot vehicle issues if needed
1.6 Facilitate the renewal of registration of ACB office vehicles with concerned government offices
1.7 Monitor requests for e-pass re-load. - Perform other related tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor(s) from time to time.
C. QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Work Experience
- Vocational Course or completion of at least two (2) years of undergraduate studies, or Senior High School Graduate, and five (5) years related work experience or its equivalent:
- TESDA on Driving NC II or Certificate of Competency and 10 years of relevant work experience

- Must possess a professional driver’s license
