Unique Flora
It is a habitat for many endemic species of plants, such as the Siamese Montien (Torenia siamensis), Sukhakun lady-slippers orchid (Paphiopedilum sukhakulii), and Magnolia thailandica.
Unique Fauna
This ASEAN Heritage Park is where the species of blind cavefish (Poropuntius speleops) can only be found.
It is the habitat of two newly discovered species, namely the Spiny-tailed water skink (Tropidophorus hangnam) and a new species of Tail-less leaf-nosed bat (Coelops sp.)
It is a habitat for two reserved wildlife species in Thailand: the Marbled cat (Felis marmorata) and the Serow (Capricornis sumatraensis).
Other animal species that can be found here are the Asian elephants (Elephas maximus), Big-headed turtles (Platisternon megacephalum), Hog deer (Axis porcinus), White-winged wood duck (Cairina scutulata), Gaur (Bos gaurus), Leopards (Panthera pardus), Clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa), Asian golden cat (Profelis temminckii), and Assamese macaque (Macaca assamensis)
