Young leaders are already taking the future in their hands. Youth-led conservation efforts such as awareness raising campaigns, coastal clean-ups, online task forces to combat illegal wildlife trafficking via social media, amongst others, are already contributing to the fight against biodiversity loss.

Each year, 2 Youth Biodiversity Leaders will be selected from each ASEAN Member State to form a YBL Cohort. Youth Biodiversity Leaders are advocates and leaders of conservation efforts in their respective locations.
