Objectives

  • To give protected area staff  first-hand experience, knowledge and closer look on the management  of  recreation, tourism and ecotourism sites;
  • To compare experiences and lessons learned in the sites;  and
  • To promote possibility of cooperation and networking among practitioners in recreation, tourism and ecotourism sites.

 

Expected Output:  Publication of the Study Tour Report

Participants: AHP/PA managers and staff involved in recreation and ecotourism activities

26 March – Arrival and Billeting at Singapore

27 – 28 March  2008 – Visit to Singapore

 

  • Singapore Botanical Gardens
  • Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
  • Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
  • MacRitchie Trails in Central Catchment Nature Reserve
